Dr. Nakhla is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Association. He is the author of numerous articles and studies in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Nakhla’s specialized expertise has led him to open skin cancer detection and treatment facilities throughout the western United States.
Clinical Origins
The science of Eighth Day began with Dr. Nakhla’s work in wound healing, using bioidentical dressings to restore skin after surgery. He realized that aging skin, damaged by sun, environment and stress, could benefit from the same approach. This insight became the foundation for Eighth Day: skincare that supports the skin’s natural repair and renewal.
